Camille was born October 28th, 1999 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina, her family moved to Slidell, Louisiana, just outside of the city.
She began performing with the New Orleans Children’s Choir at the age of 11.
As years with the choir progressed, she gained a strong understanding of vocal technique and sight reading. She went on to sing with NOCC at Carnegie Hall in New York and also performed with the New Orleans Philharmonic Orchestra while holding concerts at the University of New Orleans.
Upon entering high school, she decided to leave NOCC and broaden her horizons. She was a member of Northshore High School’s Jazz Choir, Women’s Choir, Mixed Choir, and Chamber Choir. Eventually, her interest in theatre grew. She participated in her first musical, Shrek the Musical at Slidell Little Theatre, and was cast in a small role, Gnome Number 3. In her final year of high school, she would perform in Shrek The Musical again! This time though, she got the opportunity to shine in the role of Dragon. In 2022, She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with her BFA in theatre (performance) and a minor in English. She is grateful for the many opportunities that she received at her alma mater, many of which are listed on her resume. In her last year at Southern Miss, Camille worked diligently on her musical theater training and was awarded first place in musical theater at the NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Regional Competition. She eventually became a semifinalist, claiming a spot as one of the top 14 in the nation! Though her college years have come to a close, she is especially thankful for the years of intensive training she received at USM and for her final main stage role, Margo in the acclaimed musical Bright Star.
